A U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary division is composed of five or more flotillas in a geographical area. The division is led by an elected Division Captain (DCP). and a Vice Division Captain (VCP). It contains a Board composed of the Flotilla Commanders (FC), and is supported by appointed Division Staff Officers (SO-XX) who have assigned program areas. USCG Auxiliary Division 12 (11NR-12) has five flotillas located on the East side of San Francisco Bay and inland to San Ramon.
